Getting Started: The First Step

Alvius' first step is taken on soil that has already witnessed many first steps. We are Iberians. We are children of the courage that led us to conquests across seas never before navigated.

Starting is always a leap – a fear we carry as if we were imposters in our own dreams. This project, this beginning – including what I'm writing – isn't perfect. Nor is it meant to be. After all, we are beings who seek perfection, even knowing that it is unattainable.

Alvius is the blend of what defines us - the sea, the land, courage - with what we can become.

Iberia – our inspiration – was not built on perfection, but on attempts – calloused hands, sails torn by the wind, seeds that grew in dry land.

This is my leap. An echo of that ancient courage. It's the beginning of something much bigger, which will grow with time, like so many walls that still guard and represent us today.

I'm not looking for perfection; I'm looking for what makes us move forward.
